How to Survive a Situationship

Hi Friends. Here’s my current POV.. you’re twenty seven years old going into another year single as f**k. If you would have asked me ten years ago where I would be in my life I probably couldn’t have anticipated where I am today. I would be shocked to discover relationships that fell through, the people that I would allow into my life, and unbelievably proud of what I was able to accomplish and learn about myself in such a short amount of time. What I didn’t plan on was how bleak the playing field was for a girl in her early/mid twenties. I have dated every type of guy there is out there; The smart and reserved type, the funny guy, the pretty boy, short kings, tall kings.. you name it? I tried it and it all ended the same way… with disappointment. At the risk of sounding cliché I would love to enter the approaching new year with a different type of attitude revolving around my love life. Instead of focusing on finding love in a partner, I want to hone in and grow the love I have for my friends and family in 2024. Focus on being the most authentic version of myself and growing as an individual. Here’s to building on existing friendships, traveling often, and making meaningful memories in 2024!
